Technology is moving fast!
You can’t imagine how fast technology is moving. That CPU you bought a year ago, is now slow. It will still function, but that newer software you just installed may make it run a little slow. That high-end video card you bought last year for $500 may be too slow to play today’s games. The good news is that it’s not too expensive to replace them. As the process to make them gets cheaper, so does the product as well. With Vista being the primary OS for pre-built or name brand systems, the hardware requirements are very high. We install all new systems with XP, unless Vista is requested.
